Terms of Sale
Terms of Sale and Use · Algemene voorwaarden · Conditions générales de vente
Last updated: 31 October 2026
1. Who we are
These terms apply to all apps and subscriptions sold by LineForge (eenmanszaak (sole trader)), owner Steven Whitacre, Willem de Zwiggerlaan 207-3, 1056 JP Amsterdam, Netherlands, KvK 42117921, VAT ID NL005508347B98, email info@project-timeline.com. Full details: Legal notice.
2. Scope
These terms cover Project Timeline (project-timeline.com) and Step to SVG (steptosvg.com). By creating an account or buying a subscription you accept these terms. If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms limits the mandatory rights you have under the law of your country of residence.
3. Products and prices · Prijzen · Prix
- Project Timeline Free – free of charge, with limited features.
- Project Timeline Pro – €3.99 per month, including VAT. The features included are described on project-timeline.com before purchase.
- Step to SVG – currently offered free of charge as a beta (see section 9).
All prices are in euros and include VAT at the rate applicable in your country. There are no extra delivery costs. Any price change will be announced by email at least 30 days in advance and applies from your next billing period; you may cancel before then.
4. Ordering and payment · Paiement
You order online by choosing a paid plan and confirming with the “pay” button, which means you are under an obligation to pay. Payments are processed securely by Stripe; we never see or store your full card details. We confirm the contract and these terms by email.
5. Subscription, automatic renewal and cancellation · Opzeggen · Résiliation
- The Pro subscription runs per month and renews automatically each month, and the price is charged at the start of each period, until you cancel.
- You can cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current paid month, from your account/billing settings or by emailing info@project-timeline.com. No cancellation fee applies. After that you return to the Free plan.
- Paid periods already started are not refunded, except where the law requires otherwise (see section 6).
6. Right of withdrawal · Herroepingsrecht · Droit de rétractation
As a consumer in the EU you have the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The period starts on the day the contract is concluded. To withdraw, send us a clear statement (e.g. by email to info@project-timeline.com); you may use the model form below, but you don’t have to. We refund all payments within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal, using the same payment method.
Digital services and content – starting immediately. When you buy Pro, we ask you to expressly request that we start the service immediately, before the end of the withdrawal period. If you withdraw after that, you pay an amount proportional to the part of the service already provided until you told us you withdraw. Where digital content not supplied on a tangible medium is delivered immediately with your express prior consent and your acknowledgement that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal, the right of withdrawal no longer applies once delivery has begun (Directive 2011/83/EU art. 16(m); Dutch Civil Code art. 6:230p; French Code de la consommation art. L221-28).

7. Use of the apps
You may not misuse the apps, attempt to break their security, or use them for unlawful content. You remain the owner of the data and files you create. We may suspend accounts that seriously breach these terms after giving notice where reasonable.
8. Conformity and liability · Aansprakelijkheid · Responsabilité
We supply the apps with reasonable care, and you have the statutory rights for digital content and services that are not in conformity with the contract (Dutch Civil Code Book 7 Title 1A; French Code de la consommation art. L224-25-12 and following). If something does not work as promised, contact us and we will fix it, or you may be entitled to a price reduction or to end the contract.
To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to direct damage and to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the damage occurred. This limitation does not apply to damage caused by intent or gross negligence, or where the law does not allow it. Please keep your own backups of important data.
9. Step to SVG beta · Version bêta
Step to SVG is a beta version. It runs locally in your browser: your files are processed on your own computer and are never uploaded to our servers. The beta is provided free of charge and “as is”; features may change, and conversions may contain errors – check the output before you rely on it, for example for manufacturing. If paid features are introduced, the prices and conditions will be shown before purchase and these terms will apply.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes for existing subscribers will be announced by email at least 30 days before they take effect; you may cancel before then.
11. Governing law and disputes · Toepasselijk recht · Droit applicable
These terms are governed by Dutch law. If you are a consumer living in another EU country (e.g. France), you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of that country, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of your place of residence. Please contact us first so we can try to solve the issue. LineForge is not affiliated with an alternative dispute resolution body. The EU ODR platform was discontinued on 20 July 2025.
